It was wonderful to hear that governments in Africa are using FOSS in various projects. From simple websites using Joomla to setting up parliamentary record management systems.

LPI Community Exam Lab for Q4 2011

Location

All ict@innovation participating countries
Afghanistan
Phone: +254722955831

This will be the first community exam lab to be held under the ict@innovation programme. We plan to be holding at least one exam lab every quarter, with more exam labs planned any other depending on quorum. A good quorum for the community exam labs is 20 people sitting the exams at one sitting.

Our trainers are therefore encouraged to offer training within each quarter and then combine together to deliver the exams to the candidates using the same venue, at the same time. This will help bring costs down.
