Networking and International Exchange

The ict@innovation portal has become a central internet platform for FOSS activities and exchange in Africa. Over 1200 FOSS experts and organisations have registered profiles on the site. Regional networking and peer-to-peer learning has also been at the centre of ict@innovation's involvement with FOSSFA's biannual pan-African Idlelo conference on FOSS and the Digital Commons, such as

Idlelo 5 in March 2012 in Abuja, Nigeria,

Idlelo 4 in May 2010 in Accra, Ghana and

Idlelo 3 in 2008 in Dakar, Senegal.
