ict@innovation training book (re-)launched at conference on "ICT and rural economic development" in Berlin

Last week, the German "ICT for Development" community met in Berlin for a two day gathering on the topic of "ICT and rural economic development" organized by GTZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). I had the pleasure to be a moderator of a working group, which deliberated on "innovative business models". Of course I could not resist to talk about our ict@innovation product "Free your IT-Business in Africa!”. As the training book had already been launched in Africa in June (see press release), I called it the Berlin launch :-) . For more on the launch see this blog, for more on the issue of "how to
leverage innovative business models that enable access to ICT in rural areas”, see summary of the working group. More overall info on the conference is on the German ICT-blog and on the programme page.
